Arrivals to Programs

Teachers will receive an electronic and paper copy list of their students participating in Enrichment programs. They are asked but NOT required to remind students attend their programs. Students should arrive to the MPR after school to meet their instructor & our On-Site Coordinator. We also ask parents to remind their children each morning.

Please also feel free to remind teachers and/or Campagna staff that your child will be attending class.

Dismissal from Programs

It is imperative that you indicate the dismissal arrangements for your child on the registration form. Please note that it is not permissible to be late for pick-up. If you are late more than two times, your child will no longer be able to participate in the program. Please be aware that school personnel will not be available at this time to supervise your child.

  • Parent Pick-Up (Walker Parent, Walker Caregiver):Parents/caregivers must pick up children promptly by 3:50pm.  All After-School Enrichment Programs participants will be dismissed outside of the main entrance of the school. Parents/caregivers must sign their child out.

  • Kindergartners can ride the bus ONLY if they are accompanied by an older sibling OR those attending Nannie J. Lee after care program where the bus is met by NJL personnel.

Changes to dismissal:  The On-Site Programs Coordinator will provide each LCTA teacher and each after-school programs Instructor with a list of children participating in the various after-school programs along with their dismissal instructions.  You are responsible for notifying Baroody Camps ([email protected]) or the Baroody Camps On-Site Coordinator of any changes to your child’s regular dismissal process from his/her after-school program. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A CHANGE FROM NOTIFYING THE PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR.

Snacks & Allergies

ACPS-provided snacks are available to all After-School Programs participants. We encourage families to take advantage of these snacks both for the convenience they offer & for the low risk they pose to children with allergies. If you prefer to send your own healthy snack with your child, you may do so, but must inform Baroody Camps. Please do not send anything that contains nuts or was processed in a facility that processes other products containing nuts.

If your child has a medical condition and/or allergy, serious or not, please indicate this at the time of registration. If your child requires medication, please click HERE to complete our medication form. Program providers will be given an allergy list of students participating in their class. Snacks will be monitored by the On-Site Coordinator and the Program instructors in their classrooms with serious allergy students monitored closely.

Note: We do not have access to the health office during after school programs, however, our On-Site Coordinators are trained to store and administer medication safely.

Standards of Behavior

**Parents/guardians are responsible for your child’s attendance at ASPs. Teachers will have a list of ASP students and will direct children in the first week of the ASP program. There will also be announcements at School prior to dismissal. After the first week, teacher may remind your child of his/her class, but in the end, it is your child’s responsibility to walk from their classroom to their ASP classroom location.

We want to ensure that all students participating in the after-school enrichment programs enjoy the experience.  In order for this to happen, it is expected that all students will conform to regular LCTA classroom and school rules and regulations while attending a program. The providers are all experienced Instructors and will use accepted classroom management techniques to allow misbehaving children to adjust.  If a child continues to have difficulties, he or she will be removed from the class and be placed with the On-Site Programs Coordinator who will decide if and when to return the child to class that day.  The On-Site Programs Coordinator will also inform the parents about the situation.
